The best planner for you is someone who listens to and understands your ideas. And whom you feel a sense of comfort and connection. This is why the very first thing we will do is have a conversation. So we can get to know you - and you, us.
You'll tell us about you, your partner, and your family. Then, we'll ask you some questions about your ideas, vision, and style. And through it all, you'll see that we are naturally kind, calm and collected people.
But when event day arrives, know that we can easily flip a switch to boss-mode. We will handle any situation with ease, whether it's a complicated family matter or correcting a detail that does not meet your or our standards.
We'll start by envisioning the big picture. Then, we'll work our way down to the smallest of details. And through it all, we'll lean heavily on our attention to detail and organization skills.
Thanks to my accounting background, I am meticulous at creating informative and easy-to-understand spreadsheets - a practice and service I have since instilled in my team. And, to make sure your ideas align with your plans, we are thorough note-takers and prompt communicators both with you and your vendors.
To help you stay on track throughout the planning process, you will have full access to us via email, text, and phone. And we will create a detailed checklist and a digital workbook that includes your events venue, vendor, and other important information for you to reference.
When planning a South Asian or multicultural event, there are always three traditions we keep in mind: Religion, region, and family.

We will help you find the middle ground that best honors your traditions and brings your vision to life. And because your parents likely have a say in some decisions, we will help find the perfect balance between everyone's ideas - while making it clear that you are the final decision maker.
It all starts with finding the right vendors in which we will create a custom list for you to choose from. Then, we will put your vision and vendors together with our event knowledge and creative vision. And from it all, create a one-of-a-kind event your friends and family have likely never experienced before.
My love for events started at a young age within my local community. It grew when I helped organize fashion shows for a non-profit as an adult. Then flourished while working as a planner and coordinator for a floral and decor company.
My passion for seeing events come to life and my background in corporate finance is what makes me an excellent big picture and small detail planner. My resiliency, shaped by seeing my parents work hard to make a life for our family, is what makes me a good problem-solver. And combining my skills together, along with the support of my husband, is what motivated me to create SB Events Co.
Fast forward to today, and equipped with a master wedding and event planner certification, I have put together a team of remarkable and hard-working women with one goal in mind:
